Matt is “Kindness in Motion”

Altrusa Hospitality House holds a special place in my heart because of its impact on the families we serve, including those who travel from Door County, where I live.

That connection makes this deeply personal. These are my neighbors, people I see every day, people who make up the community I call home. When they are facing some of the hardest moments of their lives, the last thing they should worry about is where they will stay or how they will afford it.

By providing a “home away from home,” AHH lifts that burden, giving families the space to be present for their loved one’s healing and to take care of themselves, too. Time and again, I hear just how much that support means in moments that feel overwhelming.
